UPS graphical interface
The Commet UPS, with power ratings from 40kVA to 150 kVA, now features an enhanced graphical user interface (GUI) with a 5.7-in. color LCD touch-screen display. The new GUI features active mimic diagrams and alarm/event logs for monitoring the status of critical power systems. The GUI is available for use with Windows or Linux operating systems and serves as a standalone Web server with its own IP address and Ethernet connection, so it can be viewed and operated from a remote location using an Internet browser.

The Dash 8Xe is a portable data acquisition and analysis recorder that supports up to eight channels of inputs for single- and 3-phase power monitoring applications. The unit uses the company's power analysis software and features a 15-in. diagonal touch-screen and 36-GB internal hard drive. Its fixed sample rate of 6,250 Hz permits harmonic analysis up to the 50th harmonic, and it can operate on either 120VAC or 240VAC.
Medical-grade power system
Designed for high peak-power diagnostic equipment, this medical-grade power system combines the company's MedAC UPS with its VSS 120 flywheel energy storage system. MedAC is listed under the UL 544 medical device safety standard, and the VSS 120 replaces the valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (VRLA) typically used in this application. Offered with a five-year warranty, the system is suitable for delivering power to CT scanners, linear accelerators, and MRIs, as well as radiography, mammography, and angiography equipment.
