Power Measurement Receives Measurement Canada Approcal for ION(R) Revenue Meters

VICTORIA, BC (July 13, 2001) - Power Measurement, a leading provider of enterprise energy management systems, today announced it has received Measurement Canada approval for its ION 7600(TM) and ION 7500(TM) advanced panel-mount energy and power quality meters. The approval allows the meters to be used in revenue billing applications in Canada. In addition, the company's ION 8500(TM) socket-based energy meter has recently passed all Hydro Quebec homologation tests and is now approved for revenue metering use by that utility.
