SKOKIE, IL Sola/Hevi-Duty, a leading supplier of power quality solutions, today introduced its new SLR Series of DIN Rail Mounted Line Reactors.

Sola/Hevi-Duty engineered SLR Series line reactors to meet the needs of OEMS requiring additional line filtering capabilities to protect sensitive equipment from supply line irregularities, such as harmonic distortion, nuisance tripping, or line notching.

SLR Series line reactors provide critical protection for high frequency drives or other three phase electronic systems plagued by capacitor or large load switching, thanks to an inductive filter that removes harmonics to eliminate drive cross-talk and interference, thus helping to keep line voltage smooth through notching. The end result is reduced stress on the components for improved performance, longer life expectancy and better efficiency.

Harnessing the latest advances in design technology, Sola/Hevi-Duty engineers created the SLR Series with a remarkably small footprint; dimensions range from just 4.93" x 4.73" x 2.77" to 4.88" x 5.91" x 3.66" (W x H x D). Units are available in 2-20 HP voltages.

Shipping of the new SLR Series is expected to begin at the end of April. Sola/Hevi Duty backs its SLR Series line reactors with a 10-year warranty.
