These newly designed units offer USB (Universal Serial Bus) connectivity as well as, battery back up, surge and fax/modem/ DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) surge protection all-in-one device.
Power interruptions or outages can cause problems including keyboard lockups, corrupted data, and lost Internet connections as well as hardware degradation and system crashes resulting in complete data loss.
The Back-UPS ES offers high-level surge protection and provides battery backup for your desktop PC, monitor, and other electronic equipment in case of a power failure. In addition, the unit offers surge protection for up to three non-data peripherals such as printers and scanners.
