What started as a fledgling business with one customer, Sears Roebuck & Co.; one product, a circular saw blade; and one plant, the old American Elevator plant in Louisville, Ky., has since grown into one of the most recognizable brands in power tools accessories, Vermont American, Mt. Prospect, Ill.
Vermont American has produced quality products for professional tradesmen and DIY aficionados alike since 1947. The tremendous growth the company has experienced is a testament to its innovative product development, engineering and manufacturing excellence.
