Pieper-Houston Electric has been honored as one of The Houston Chronicle’s Top Workplaces for the second consecutive year.

“This award is a testament to the family-like work environment we have at Pieper, which is supported by our long-time, dedicated employees,” said Pieper President/CEO George W. “Bud” Walters. “In an industry that often sees a lot of turnover, being named a top workplace in Houston is a great honor and strong reflection of our core values — integrity, honesty and quality of work, as well as our dedication to providing stability and growth for our employees and clients.”

The Top Workplaces, published in the Houston Chronicle on Nov. 10, are determined based solely on employee feedback. 2013 marks the fourth year of the awards, with 150 companies and organizations rated by their employees in areas such as company leadership, opportunities for advancement, the value of their compensation and benefits, and work/life balance. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

Pieper-Houston Electric is a commercial electrical contractor that provides both new construction and maintenance services to the greater Houston area.
