Unveiled by New York-based new media company Blue Egg on May 21, Green Building Blocks is a new online resource designed for building and design professionals committed to sustainable home construction and green remodeling. Through a partnership with Building Green, Inc. (BGI), the site (www.greenbuildingblocks.com) features more than 1,900 environmentally preferred residential building products reviewed by BGI's experts.

Users can ask experts questions, look up solutions, watch videos, and read case studies that illuminate the entire green building process. The also have access to the site’s professional directory, which gives green building professionals an opportunity to showcase their work and promote their business. Details on certification programs, climate regions, and building specialties are also available, along with a nationwide listing of green building events.
