Active Power Flywheel Technology Earns Global Industry Award

Austin, Texas-based Active Power was awarded the 2007 Product Design Innovation of the Year by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) for its CleanSource UPS system. The IET Innovation in Engineering Awards recognizes products, technologies, and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation.

"Active Power is honored to receive IET's 2007 Product Design of the Year Award for our CleanSource UPS system," says Jim Murphy, vice president for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific for Active Power.
