Seattle-based Glumac, a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) consulting engineering firm, recently received a Revit BIM Experience Award for its exemplary use of building information modeling (BIM) and dedication to sustainable design. To efficiently collaborate with multi-discipline teams working on large-scale projects, Glumac's engineers use San Rafael, Calif.-based Autodesk’s Revit MEP software to share Revit models with project partners, fostering tighter integration and communication.

Suwanee, Ga.-based Doosan Infracore recently completed the acquisition of the Bobcat, Utility, Equipment, and Attachments businesses from Ingersoll Rand Company, Ltd. The three entities will operate as individual businesses and will be known as Bobcat, Doosan Infracore Portable Power and DII Attachments.

Sarasota, Fla.-based Clockwork Home Services, Inc. recently announced that a total of 22 new plumbing, HVAC, and electrical franchisees joined the company during the third quarter of the year from July 1 through Sept. 30. “Our Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating, and Mister Sparky Electrical franchises continue to generate strong interest from independent home services contractors who want to join a franchise that has a good track record for customer service, professional business practices, and operational excellence that helps to maximize revenue and profitability potential,” says Tab Hunter, president of Franchise Operations for Clockwork Home Services, Inc.
