D&P Custom Lights & Wiring Systems is the new name of D&P Custom Lights & Products, Nashville, Tenn. D&P recently unveiled its new corporate logo as the first phase of a planned expansion to enhance design and manufacturing capabilities.

Boulder, Colo.-based Albeo Technologies received a $1.5-million equity investment from an investment group led by Green Spark Ventures. The new capital will be targeted at market and product expansion.

On March 3rd, Elmsford, N.Y.-based Schott, manufacturer of photovoltaic modules and receivers for solar thermal power plants, will break ground on the company's state-of-the-art solar manufacturing facility in the Mesa del Sol, N.M. The groundbreaking represents the start of an initial $100 million investment by the company. The long-term economic impact has been valued at more than $1 billion.
