  • Mississauga, Ontario-based Hydrogenics Corp., designer and manufacturer of hydrogen and fuel cell systems, recently announced it has entered into a manufacturing and supply agreement with American Power Conversion. Under the agreement, Hydrogenics will deliver up to 500 HyPM XR 12kW fuel cell power modules for integration into APC’s NCPI solutions, specifically its InfraStruXure architecture.

  • Winter Park, Fla.-based Palmer Electric Co. was recently awarded the contract to wire the 30-story Dynetech Centre, a mixed-use building located in downtown Orlando. Project general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, chose the Palmer team for site and building electrical contracting, including the interior finish work on the office, apartment, and amenities components.

  • On Aug. 15, Houston-based Cooper Industries announced the acquisition by Cooper Power Systems, Inc. of Cannon Technologies, Inc., Minneapolis. With this acquisition, Cooper Power Systems expects to provide customers with the ability to use a wide variety of communications technology to link equipment.

  • Pulte Homes recently selected the Multi-Family Division of Palmer Electric Co., Winter Park, Fla., to provide electrical contracting for Ventura at Turtle Creek in Rockledge, Fla. The two-year contract calls for the Palmer team to wire 400 condominium units in ten four-story buildings.
