Little Neck, N.Y-based Leviton Manufacturing Co., has joined with a large number of corporate sponsors to help outfit Birmingham’s new $7 million, 33,000-square-foot Ronald McDonald House with energy- and cost-efficient technologies. Joining with DuPont, Kohler, American Standard and other manufacturers, Leviton contributed a supply of its Decora electronic timer switches to the combined pool of more than $1 million in donated product.

The corporate sponsorships along with its fund-raising capital campaign will enable the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA) to achieve its goal of cutting the ribbon on its environmentally friendly new facility entirely debt-free.
