ABC’s Heart of America Chapter presents excellence in construction awards

Wachter Electric wins the Pinnacle Award
The Heart of America Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) recently presented its 2004 Excellence in Construction Awards at a ceremony in Overland Park, Kan. Over 250 contractors, architects, and developers attended the ceremony.
The Pinnacle Award, which recognizes excellence in subcontracting, was given to Wachter Electric, Lenexa, Kan., for the Cerner Corp. Data Center, Phase II, in Lee’s Summit, Mo. The following ABC member companies received first place in their category in the 2004 ABC Excellence in Construction awards program:
Electrical Commercial/Institutional - Under $250,000 Affinity Electrical Contracting St. Peters Auto Spa
Electrical Commercial/Institutional - $250,000 to $750,000 Heritage Electric Chateau Avalon
Electrical Commercial/Institutional - Over $750,000 SKC Electric - a division of Faith Technologies Visitation Catholic Church
Electrical Industrial - Over $750,000 Wachter Electrical Serologicals Corporation - Lawrence Facility
