Hint: Hot tin roof
This temporary installation of electrical metallic tubing (EMT) is too short to properly connect to the connector on this outlet box. This open metal raceway could have caused an electrical accident if the "hot leg" had made contact with the metal corrugated roof cover to which it was attached. This lack of continuity violates the basic principles of equipment grounding as noted in 300.10. Metal raceways for conductors shall be metallically joined together into a continuous electric conductor and must be connected to all boxes, fittings, and cabinets so as to provide effective electrical continuity.
