Understanding the Basics of Delta Transformer Calculations

Transformer configuration names like and derive from the way the windings are connected inside the transformer. These connections determine the way the transformer will behave, and they also determine the methods of calculation required for properly applying a given transformer. Delta-connected transformers have the windings of three single-phase transformers connected in series with each other to

Thank you EC&M, Your details sure confirmed some questions I had with a transformer I'm hooking up for a customer, for what ever reason I just wasn't certain on bonding the equipment grounding conductor inside the transformer along with the XO neutral tap for the secondary voltage panel. Although Isolation between neutral and ground will be made at the secondary panel itself. It appears that yes it is ok and necessary, I just had a vision of the current of the transformer neutral bleeding into the grounded system, but actually it seem that it is reverse in that the metal enclosure with it's ground bond will be better protected attached to the transformer XO neutral tap.
