BICSI Accredits Leviton Program
BICSI recently accredited the Installer Certification Program offered by Leviton Mfg., Little Neck, N.Y. The program provides product and installation training for Leviton Integrated Networks. Participants who complete the course receive eight continuing education credits, which can be applied to apprentice, installer, and registered communications distribution designer certification.
Data-Signal-Voice Company Launched
The Data-Signal-Voice business of Textron Inc., Rockford, Ill., recently launched a unified company under the Tempo brand name. The brand combines a diverse group of products, services, and established brands serving the rapidly growing test and measurement needs of the telecommunications, data communications, and cable television industries.

To 800 surveyed consumers with broadband networked homes, product reliability and interoperability are more important than price, says a recent study by Parks Associates, a Dallas-based research firm.
