Surge protective device
Strikesorb 40-3000, 40-4000, and 40-5000 medium-voltage surge protection devices are comprised of a 40-mm diameter single distribution-grade metal oxide varistor (MOV) disc in an environmentally sealed aluminum housing. The 40-3000 provides a maximum continuous operating voltage (MCOV) of 2.55kV with a rated voltage of 3kV. The device has a nominal discharge current of 10kA and a residual voltage of less than 10kV. The 40-4000 provides an MCOV of 3.4kV with a rated voltage of 4kV, while the 40-5000 has an MCOV of 4.25kV with a rated voltage of 5kV.

Surge protective device
The All Mode EMA surge protective device (SPD) is a modular parallel transient voltage surge suppressor that provides discreet surge suppression paths for all 10 modes: (L-L, L-N, L-G, N-G). The product also features multi-stage suppression circuits consisting of metal oxide varistors (MOVs). Each surge suppression mode is individually fused and uses circuitry with thermal cutouts to isolate the SPD and ensure shutdown in the event of MOV damage during severe overvoltages.
