Power management software

PowerAlert software features three components for power management. PowerAlert Network Management System lets network managers monitor and control up to 250 UPS systems and PDUs through a single interface, while PowerAlert Local allows users to monitor and control UPS systems connected to a host computer through a USB or serial cable. PowerAlert Network Shutdown Agent lets the host computer monitor a designated PowerAlert Local client or SNMPWEBCARD accessory over the network. When a selected power event is detected, the host computer automatically hibernates or shuts down.

TVSS

The Square D Surgelogic high-resistance ground (HRG) EMA surge protective device (SPD) is a modular parallel transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS) that provides protection from transients referenced phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground. According to the company, each surge suppression mode is individually fused and uses circuitry with thermal cutouts to isolate the SPD and ensure shutdown in the event of MOV damage during severe outages, even when operated on high-fault current power systems.
