Fire-rated cables

PLTC circuit integrity (CI) shielded multi-conductor cables are designed to survive fire for up to 2 hr and UL2196/NEC listed to meet the requirements of hazardous environments. Safe-T-Line CI cables meet the fire alarm cable system survivability requirements of NFPA 70 and NFPA 72(2002). Designed for non-conduit installation only, these riser-rated cables call for installation with fire-stop materials, cable runs without splices through the fire zone, and terminations no less than 12 in. beyond the fire-rated wall or floor bounding the fire area.

Raceway

The Fiber Raceway system is now available in black and orange. Users may specify sizes and colors for 2-in. × 2-in., 2-in. × 4-in., 4-in. × 4-in., 4-in. × 8-in., or 4-in × 12-in. systems — in yellow, gray, orange, or black. An outlet trump fitting for the 4-in. × 12-in. system allows fiber cabling to exit from the end of the raceway and down to the cabinet or rack. In addition, an end support fitting provides a way to permanently attach the 4-in. × 4-in. raceway transitioning from the overhead mounting system down to the top of a cabinet. Mounting hardware includes a ladder rack mount kit.

Pliers

This line of pliers includes five models. The high leverage side-cutting pliers are available in 8-in. or 9-in. lengths and feature a handle ridge for enhanced control. Their diamond-serrated jaws and precision-machined, induction-hardened blades allow for cutting of hardened wire, ACSR bolts, screws, and nails. In addition, the angled diagonal-cutting pliers allow users to place the head of the pliers flush against a surface while gripping the handles securely. Available grip sizes include 5 in., 6 in., 7 in., and 8 in. The long nose pliers feature 6-in., 7-in., or 8-in. flared handles that offer a wide grip design. An area on the custom grip permits users to place an identification mark.
