New Correspondence Course for the Year 2000

With high school shootings and disgruntled employee violence on the rise, companies are understandably concerned about safety. And while protection against violent individuals is essentially impossible to secure via legislation, it can be done reasonably well on a facility-by-facility basis.

With that in mind, EC&M introduces a new correspondence course on security, access, and crime prevention, instructed by Datacom Consultant Paul Rosenberg.

This class will cover not only the theories and common applications of video monitoring, alarm, and access systems, but will also show you how to combine technologies into strategies for protecting personnel from violence.

Lesson 1: New Threats; New Answers; Layers of Safety

Lesson 2: Keeping Them Away: Security Lighting, Approach Planning, Mind Games, and Spy Tech

Lesson 3: Seeing Them Coming: Video Monitoring, Remote Sensing, Threat Assessment, Part 1

Lesson 4: Seeing Them Coming: Video Monitoring, Remote Sensing, Threat Assessment, Part 2
