Online UPS

The Powerware 9355 is a double-conversion, online UPS, available in 10kVA and 15kVA models. The unit has an efficiency rating of 91% and delivers a 0.9 output power factor. Offering 18 types of output receptacles and boasting a compact design, the UPS comes equipped with power management software for secure remote monitoring over a LAN or the Internet. With the company's eNotify remote monitoring service, users can be notified of significant events via phone, e-mail, or pager.

Economy UPS

The FirstLine 3-phase UPS for 10kVA, 15kVA, and 20kVA applications costs 20% to 30% less than comparable models, according to the company. The true online, double-conversion UPS provides blackout protection and power conditioning, and its front-end harmonic correction capability eliminates the need for additional filtering. It has a control panel on the front of a freestanding NEMA1 enclosure, but can be monitored remotely through an RS232 connection.

Sensitive UPS

The S2K is a compact, line-interactive UPS with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) topology and data line protection. This unit, available in 120VAC and 230VAC models with power ratings from 300VA through 1,000VA, comes with hot-swappable batteries. Its built-in AVR is intended to stabilize voltage and frequency fluctuations and save battery power for deep sag situations when input voltage is below 78V. It also has an input circuit protector and a pair of surge-protected data line connectors (RJ-45) for telephone and network connections.

Versatile UPS

The Xi online UPS uses a single standard battery and can be used in stand-alone, rack-mounted, or stacking formats. This unit features dual inputs, a rotating LCD, remote emergency power-off connection, and intelligent overload protection. It is available in a 1.5kVA version, which is rated as 87% efficient, and 2.5kVA to 6kVA versions, which are rated as 90% efficient. It comes with hot-swappable batteries, and its monitoring and control is provided via an RS232 interface.

The double-conversion online Allen-Bradley 1609-P UPS is available in the 3kVA to 10kVA power range. Each model is available in various input and output voltage combinations and offers assorted output voltages and receptacle or hard wired configurations. Its network management card allows users to monitor and control capabilities via a standard Web browser or RSView.
