The Lighting Controls Association (LCA) recently unveiled its Web site,

www.aboutlightingcontrols.org

. The site provides information on advanced lighting control specification-related topics, including controls options, placement, technology, projects, calculating energy savings, electronic ballast-control compatibility, the effect switching has on lamp life, and calibration. The site is designed to educate building owners and managers, specifiers, contractors, distributors, and people in allied trades involved in building management, design, and construction. The association is administered by NEMA, Rosslyn, Va.
