If you’re an electrician looking for the highest possible pay in the nation, California is certainly a desirable destination (with five cities holding down spots in the top 10).

If you're an electrician looking for the highest possible pay in the country, California is still the best place to be, according to the latest figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' "Occupational Employment and Wages May 2015 Study." Like last year, the Golden State held down many of the top 10 slots — this year increasing that number from three cities to five. Illinois and Alaska also had two cities each in the rankings. Keep in mind, this list does not take cost of living into consideration.
