So I went and purchased a new switch to install and when I removed the old switch it was indeed melted. There was an extreme amount of heat at that switch at some point. As I removed the switch I discovered there was no ground on the fan speed switch. The switch can be &quot;All On&quot;/&quot;All Off/&quot;Local Control&quot;. This switch controls several circuits. We are using 120V for the switching of 277V fixtures.<br /> Whenever we switch to &quot;All Off&quot; everything is good.
