IEC Welcomes North Carolina as its Newest Chapter
Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Electrical Contractors' (IEC) National Board of Directors recently announced the chartering of the association's newest chapter, North Carolina IEC.
"I look forward to working with the chapter and its members to build a better industry for us all," says Larry Mullins, IEC National VP/CEO. "I am confident that the chapter will help its members reach new heights of business success."
"This chapter will be a great addition to the IEC community,"says Steve Wiege, IEC National president. "I salute Julian Burns, chapter president, for his efforts and know that this area has the ability to grow into one of IEC's largest and most successful chapters."
The group is part of the North Carolina Association of Electrical Contractors (NCAEC), Greensboro, N.C., which was founded in 1937 to be a voice for the electrical contractors of North Carolina. Its charter was granted October 24.
