Associations Seek Participants for SDI Study
The Foundation of American Subcontractors Association (FASA), Alexandria, Va., and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), Washington, D.C., recently commissioned a research project on the use of subcontractor default insurance (SDI) in the construction industry, and researchers are asking for help in collecting information that is vital to the success of the project. Clemson, S.C.-based Clemson University’s Department of Construction Science and Management is seeking help with identifying owners of construction projects on which SDI has been used.
Please forward the names and contact information of owner companies and representatives to Dennis Bausman, Ph.D., at dennisb@clemson.edu. For more information, contact Emily Yunker, customer services manager for the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) at (703) 684-3450, ext. 1333.
