Ralph Dickinson, P.E., Joins Michaels Energy

Michaels Energy is pleased to announce that Ralph Dickinson, P.E., has joined the Michaels Energy team.

A recent retiree from Xcel Energy, Mr. Dickinson brings 40 years of engineering experience, including 31 years in energy efficiency, to Michaels Energy. He is a registered mechanical engineer in Minnesota. He has managed hospital facility construction, retrofits and operations, and provided consulting engineering services for new and existing building systems. He has also led engineering and project development for two spin-off companies and spent 25 years developing energy conservation and load management programs in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional markets. He developed and managed an 8-year energy conservation retrofit program for over 200 State of Minnesota buildings with over 20 million sq ft. and 14 different State agencies. He provides expert technical support and training, energy analysis and conceptual design services.

His education includes an MBA and an M.S. degree in environmental health from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Mr. Dickinson's extensive experience in energy efficiency, his knowledge of commercial, industrial and institutional markets, and his professionalism and passion make him an outstanding addition to the Michaels Energy team. His arrival was timed perfectly as we are currently expanding our Twin Cities operations.
