Shermco Industries has been accepted into the Challenge Pilot Program, a part of OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP)

Irving, Texas-based Shermco Industries has been accepted into the Challenge Pilot Program, a part of OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), which encourages and assists employers in their efforts to protect their employees' safety and health. The Challenge Pilot Program recognizes exemplary employers in the process of working toward implementing a successful safety and health management system.

Under the VPP, management, labor, and OSHA establish cooperative relationships at workplaces that have implemented a comprehensive safety and health management system. Approval into VPP is OSHA’s official recognition of the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health.
