Joint venture targets union electrical contractors

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), Bethesda, Md., and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Washington, D.C, recently released a motivational DVD. In the project, “Moving Out of the Comfort Zone,” Ben Cook, past president of NECA, and current NECA President E. Milner Irvin outline the findings of a recent joint task force and its recommendations on how to increase competitiveness and boost performance.

The DVD was recently distributed to all IBEW-signatory contractors, who were asked to show it to their unionized electrical workers on company time.
