Generac Power Systems Announces Retirement of CEO William Treffert

Edward A. LeBlanc appointed as Treffert’s successor

Waukesha, Wis.-based Generac Power Systems recently announced that after 31 years of service to the company, William Treffert, 63, has decided to retire from his position as the company’s CEO. However, he will stay on to assist the company during the transition period.

Edward A. LeBlanc will become the new CEO of Generac, effective immediately. LeBlanc served as non-executive chairman of the company’s board of directors for the past year, and has more than 20 years of executive management experience in the industrial and consumer products industry.
