Faith Technologies, an electrical and specialty systems contractor headquartered in Lenexa, Kan., recently received acceptance for its Build Safe Partnership Program (BSPP) renewal. The BSPP is a voluntary program dedicated to improving safety and health performances, and it also recognizes employers with exceptional health and safety programs. Both The Builders’ Association and OSHA administrators in the Kansas City, Omaha, St. Louis, and Wichita-area offices review the renewal application. Faith Technologies has participated for the past seven years.

BSPP began in 2001 and evaluates the following for safety and health performance for the three most recent years: experience modification rating, number of injuries/illnesses from OSHA 300 logs, and total case injury/illness incidence rate. It also evaluates the following for a company’s safety and health program, including: safety program documentation; policies and management support; training and orientation; administration and procedures, and OSHA inspections.
