Norwalk, Conn.-based EMCOR Group, Inc. recently announced that its Gibson Electric & Technology Solutions subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the installation of the power and technology systems for the Palos Community Hospital Surgery and Bed Pavilion, Palos Heights, Ill.
Gibson Electric will be responsible for installing all the power and technology systems in the new hospital building, which is an energy efficient designed 400,000 sq-ft, seven story addition, which will house 10 new multi-use surgical suites and 216 private patient rooms. Gibson will also self-perform the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process to increase efficiency and productivity in building design and construction. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the fall 2012.
