The U.S. Department of Energy The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has published an updated version of the guide, "LED Luminaire Lifetime: Recommendations for Testing and Reporting." Developed by a working group under the auspices of DOE and the Next Generation Lighting Industry Alliance, the publication is available in PDF format on the DOE website at website.

This guide is the latest edition in a series of publications on LED product performance and lifetime. The working group is composed of a diverse group of experts in reliability, lighting, and LED technology.
