Electrical engineering and construction services company Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) recently announced that veteran Project Executive Earl Martin is joining fellow Project Executive Corey Munoz in the company’s rapidly expanding data center division. Martin and Munoz, along with San Jose Vice President of Operations John Sales and a project management team of more than 25 data center experts, will build upon the nearly $2 billion worth of electrical solutions CEI has already installed for data center customers.

"Since the Internet boom in the late 1990s, Cupertino Electric has been synonymous with high-quality, reliable data center engineering and construction,” said Tom Schott, COO of Cupertino Electric. “Today, we are working for some of the world’s most respected companies to develop ultra-efficient data centers fueling the new economy. This infusion of data center-focused resources will enable us to continue to increase our breadth and depth of offerings for customers who look to Cupertino Electric to solve their data center needs.”

Martin brings more than three decades of electrical construction experience to his new project executive role with Cupertino Electric’s data center division. During his 23-year career with Cupertino Electric, Martin has overseen countless fast-track and design/build projects in requiring immense coordination for industry-leading organizations like Nokia, Stanford University, and Northrop Grumman.

Munoz has spent the last 14 years in electrical and general contracting focused on design/build data center projects for private data center customers, colocation providers, real estate investment trust organizations, and national health care providers. Munoz oversees high-profile, technically-complex electrical projects for CEI across the United States.
