Cummins Power Generation increases prices

Prices have been raised in part due to market conditions and the rising cost of raw materials, as well as the cost of the technology used to achieve the lower emissions levels mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to take effect on Jan. 1.

Fridley, Minn.-based Cummins Power Generation recently increased prices for its commercial generator set products between 15 kW and 2700 kW. Prices of EPA Tier 3-certified generator sets will rise by up to 10% while prices of EPA Tier 2-certified generator sets will rise by up to 7%.
