  • Industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp., Cleveland, recently announced that its contract with the United States General Services Administration (GSA) has been renewed for an additional five years, with sales anticipated to exceed $100 million. The GSA is the federal government's primary acquisition agency whose mission is to help other agencies meet their needs for products and services at the best value.

  • Milwaukee-based Penta Technologies, provider of enterprise software for the construction industry, recently formed a strategic partnership with San Diego-based Trade Service, developer of Tra-Ser, a material and pricing database for the electrical and plumbing/HVAC specialty contracting industries. Under the agreement, the Tra-Ser Premier material pricing database has been integrated with Penta Construction ERP software.

  • Santa Ana, Calif.-based Onyx Power, designer and manufacturer of custom power magnetics and power distribution equipment for the data center, telecommunications, and alternative energy industries, has been acquired by Richmond, Va.-based Power Distribution, Inc., a Bertram Capital, San Mateo, portfolio company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
