Honeywell, Sonepar USA, Acuity Brands
  • Morristown, N.J.-based Honeywell recently completed its acquisition of Oak Brook, Ill.-based Norcross Safety Products, a leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), for approximately $1.2 billion. Norcross will form a new line of business called Honeywell Safety Products within Honeywell Life Safety, part of the company’s Automation and Control Solutions (ACS).

  • Philadelphia, Pa.-based Sonepar USA recently acquired ESSCO Wholesale Electric, Chandler, Ariz. Sonepar USA will now operate 253 branches in 35 states.

  • Atlanta-based Acuity Brands recently announced a strategic alliance between Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL) and Lighting Science Group (LSG), New York, to develop and launch multiple light emitting diode (LED) lighting products. The products will be part of ABL’s portfolio.
