States Manufacturing Corp.
Minneapolis-based States Electric Manufacturing Co. has changed its name to States Manufacturing Corp. to better reflect the depth and breadth of the company's services. Ownership, management, and the company's workforce remain constant, as does its focus — designing, engineering, and manufacturing custom electrical and precision fabricated metal solutions. The name change took effect February 26.
Norwalk, Conn.-based EMCOR Group recently announced that four of its subsidiaries have been awarded contracts for the installation of mechanical, electrical, voice/data, and controls systems for a renovation project that will create a new state-of-the-art Telemedicine Facility at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
