  • Hubbell Premise Wiring, Stonington, Conn., recently formed a marketing alliance with Mitel, Ottawa, Canada. By working closely with Mitel, Hubbell hopes to be able to offer customers and resellers access to cost-effective and easy-to-manage infrastructure solutions designed to enhance the flexibility, accessibility, and physical security of Mitel IP voice applications.
  • Norcross, Ga.-based Halco Lighting recently opened an additional warehouse in Cleveland. Customers within the vicinity of the Cleveland warehouse may pick up their orders between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Salt River Project, Phoenix, Ariz recentnly awarded a contract to Boise, Idaho-based Washington Group International, Inc. to provide architectural, engineering, and procurement support services for a new 400MW coal-fired generating unit in eastern Arizona. The unit will be owned by Salt River Project, operated by Tucson Electric Power, and will use best-available control technologies and equipment to limit emissions.
