The Shaw Group, EnviroGuard Compliance and Safety Solutions, Klein Tools
  • Baton Rouge, La.-based The Shaw Group recently announced its third quarter fiscal 2006 financial results, reporting that its quarterly revenues increased to $1.2 billion, a 38% increase over third quarter 2005. Shaw’s backlog totaled $8.1 billion as of May 31.
  • Underwriters Laboratories recently listed stationary lead acid battery systems (SLABS) from Montclair, Calif.-based EnviroGuard Compliance and Safety Solutions. The spill containment systems used in uninterruptible power and stand-by power systems at utility and telecommunications sites are the first SLABS containment systems on the market to be UL Listed.
  • Klein Tools has moved its corporate headquarters from Skokie, Ill., to a new 64,000-square-foot facility located on a seven-acre site in Lincolnshire, Ill., a northwestern suburb of Chicago. In addition to the office space, a 57,000-square-foot multi-purpose building was constructed for light industrial use.
