  • Costa Mesa, Calif.-based MGE UPS Systems recently invested $1 million into expanding its Customer Test Center. The expanded facility encompasses more 25,000 square feet, including 28 test bays with a total electrical capacity of 12MW.

  • Highland, Ind.-based EMCOR Hyre Electric recently formed an alliance with Global Lighting Solutions, Naples, Fla., to provide installation services for all Global projects in the Indiana and Illinois market area.   • Pleasanton, Calif.-based IronPlanet, an online auction house for used construction equipment and trucks, finished the fiscal year by passing $600 million in recorded public transactions since its first auction in April 2000. Last year, IronPlanet held 27 online auctions that resulted in more than $163.5 million in gross sales, a growth of more than 30% over the previous year.
