Collegeville, Pa.-based Allied Wire & Cable recently announced the success of its 4th annual Charity Week, which ran from December 14 to December 18. Each year, Allied sets aside a portion of sales for a full week in December to donate to a charity. This year’s recipient was the Phoenix-based Make-A-Wish Foundation, chosen by Allied’s customers in a month-long poll held on the company's Web site. Allied has proudly supported Make-A-Wish for several years, including previous charity weeks, and were excited to have the opportunity to do so again.

Allied raised a total of $9,223.31 that will be split between Make-A-Wish and the other charities, which will receive $250 each, featured in the vote. These charities include: American Farmland Trust, ASPCA, Autism Speaks, Coalition to Support America’s Heroes, Meals on Wheels Association of America, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
