Hi, we are doing the 132kV Power Cable 1200 Sq.mm Laying work at Qidfa G/S to our Terminal Tower for Transco project, Fujairah.

One Drum power cable length is 650 mtrs, we have to calculate the side wall pressure calculation during the cable laying,

"Note 2: For a pull of three single-conductor cables in parallel, a maximum SWBP of 750 lb/ft is recommended."

the weight of the wires in vertical section A-B will increase the pulling tension of 704 lbs and the R value to 7.01 ft.

Hi we are pulling 1C x 800mm2 XLPE Unarmoured on cable tray at height of 14 meter structure. cable tray has so many bends of 90 degree. now our machine is showing 24 KN tension while pulling from bends? is this tension is ok for this or how much should be there maximum ?
Please reply and guide.
