Cable lock-out device
Designed for use in tough industrial environments, the all-purpose cable lock-out device lets users choose from two different cable types. The device comes with 0.05-in. non-conductive nylon cable to lock out disconnect switches and other electrical control points, and 0.188-in. rust-resistant sheathed metal cable to lock out large valves and other mechanical energy controls. It can accommodate as many as four locks, and a built-in loop keeps the loose end of the coil from dangling.

Heat guns
Available in three models, the Heat Elite series heat guns feature responsive controls, double-insulated power cords, and non-slip handles. The basic model has two temperature settings — 660°F and 930°F — and a two-step on/off temperature and airflow control switch. The Pro model has a stepless temperature adjustment dial that enables a variable temperature range from 180°F to 1,020°F and a two-step on/off temperature and airflow control switch. And the Plus model comes with an LCD digital terminal that independently controls its temperature and airflow and features seven preset application functions that allow the user to automatically configure settings.

Generator self-test verifier
Designed to evaluate and report the results of backup electrical generators, the Generator Self-Test Verifier checks that a generator has started, that its voltage is within a ±10% tolerance window, and that it has continued to operate for a minimum of two minutes. Mounted to the transfer switch, the device can monitor all possible voltages and phase configurations and requires 120VAC power. In the event of a test failure, it sounds an alarm and either closes a set of contacts or directly reports the failure to a central monitoring agency via telephone line or wireless connection when used with an optional reporting module.

Fiber optic converter system
Measuring 22.5 mm wide, PSI-MOS fiber optic converters allow complete isolation of Interbus, Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet, CANopen, RS-232, and other RS-485 networks by converting the electrical copper-based signals to glass or polymer fiber technology. The converters feature onboard diagnostics that offer detailed information about the signal quality on the fiber optic path and monitor the copper and fiber optic bus lines for prohibitively long dominant bit level (18-bit). They also have fiber optic line monitoring and bus segment disconnect in the event of a failure to prevent the transmission of corrupted data packages into neighboring bus segments.
