Communications module

The IntelliRack interface connects this manufacturer's uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system to multiple computers or servers. It fits in 1U of rack space and can be daisy-chained to connect as many as 20 computers or servers that run different operating systems to this manufacturer's UPS system. The interface uses MultiLink software, which is a monitoring and shutdown system that can be installed on the host computer to monitor UPS performance, including battery status. During an extended outage, MultiLink warns users of impending power loss and automatically shuts down systems.
