Double-throw safety switch
The Cutler-Hammer brand Quick-Connect double-throw safety switch is designed to provide a safe and efficient way to connect mobile generators or portable equipment rated from 30A to 800A to a facility's electrical system. The safety switch is a manual device consisting of two interlocked switches that cannot be on at the same time. The switches are vertically oriented — the upper switch is the “normal” switch, and the lower switch is the “backup power” switch.

Blunt-tip safety blades
These bi-metal blunt-tip safety blades are made using a patented welding process that fuses together two different types of steel. The blades can bend without breaking because of the flexible spring steel used to form the backing material. Their edges are formed from high-speed steel, and they feature a 90° blade junction to reduce the risk of accidental puncture wounds. The blades are configured with the industry standard two-notch design, which will fit most utility knives.

Test terminal blocks
The WTL 4/2 STB disconnect test terminal blocks make it possible to open the bus bar in the terminal and for the adapter to make contact with a single action, assuring continuous operation of the circuit during the test procedure. With this disconnect test terminal block, the order in which disconnect and contact is made is determined by the length of the color-coded plastic log on the test adapters. It features a touch-safe design, and its combination-foot makes it suitable for TS-32 and TS-35 DIN rail mounting.

Load control device
The E-Mon D-Mon Class 3000 meter is now offered with a load control option designed to operate at user-selectable high and low set points. By proper selection of the high kW limit set point, the Class 3000 meter can be used to decrease electrical demand peaks by shedding loads or activating a local generator. The low kW limit set point allows the load to be returned to normal operating power independently as pre-set parameters are met. Load control functions are programmed via four buttons located inside the meter enclosure. A three-screw removable terminal block allows for connection to the controlled load.
