Flywheel energy storage system
The Liebert FS flywheel storage system supplements or replaces battery backup in this company's larger UPS systems. The system provides about 20 sec. of backup power to ride through short interruptions and enable transition to a backup generator. A single flywheel can be sized to support UPS systems as high as 150kVA, and multiple flywheel systems can operate in parallel to support larger systems.

Double-conversion UPS
The Galaxy 4000 UPS features digital power quality management and advanced IBGT technology. Available in 40kVA, 50kVA, 65kVA, and 75kVA models, the online double-conversion UPS interfaces with universal communication protocols and incorporates four communication slots that can support SNMP, J-Bus/ModBus, TCP/IP, and RS-232 and RS-485 protocols. The UPS' front-panel LCD shows measurements and diagnostic messages as well as an LED mimic diagram. It also features password-protected personalized menus and warning thresholds for battery operation.

High-density UPS
The S4K4U UPS features 6kVA of power capacity, flexible output voltage, internal batteries, and an integrated maintenance bypass switch. The UPS consists of two 3kVA, 120V inverters, and its dual-inverter engineering permits flexible output voltages to meet mixed load voltage requirements. It automatically senses the input voltage and configures the output voltages, which enables users to power a variety of loads without an additional transformer. The UPS also includes self-diagnostic capabilities, multiple and simultaneous communications ports, wide input voltage range, automatic internal battery bypass, continuous sinewave output, and power-corrected input.
