The newly designed double-coated OCAL conduit body and cover is ideal for washdown, harsh or corrosive environments. The key is in the cover. A cast cover is injection molded with a PVC coating and has an integral O-ring seal. Tightened with stainless steel encapsulated screws, UL Type 4X listing is achieved with only 15 in.-lb of torque, compared to 35 in.-lb required in competitive products.
