North American Industrial Spending Index Experiences 40% Growth

Compared to 2006, the June 2007 value of active industrial projects in North America is up 40.21%, continuing a three-month trend of increasing growth, reports Industrial Info Resources of Sugar Land, Texas. Presently, more than $300 billion in active projects have begun construction or are scheduled to begin construction in 2007. The largest growth increase has been seen by the alternative fuels

Compared to 2006, the June 2007 value of active industrial projects in North America is up 40.21%, continuing a three-month trend of increasing growth, reports Industrial Info Resources of Sugar Land, Texas. Presently, more than $300 billion in active projects have begun construction or are scheduled to begin construction in 2007. The largest growth increase has been seen by the alternative fuels industry, with $44 billion in active projects for 2007. The petroleum refining industry is the second largest growth industry in 2007, with 195.77% growth measured.
