ASA Introduces Addendum to AGC Design/Build Forms
The American Subcontractors Association (ASA), Alexandria, Va., recently published the Addendum to Standard Form of Agreement Between Design-Builder and Subcontractor AGC 450/455 (1999). You can download it from www.asaonline.com. ASA members may obtain a copy via fax or mail by calling ASA’s government relations department at (703) 684-3450, ext. 336. This new addendum is the third contract resource published by ASA in 1999 and 2000, preceded by the Addendum to AGC 650/655 and the Addendum to Subcontract.

Trade Service Launches Trade School Program
Trade Service Corp., San Diego, recently introduced its new Trade School Collaboration Program—in which it will partner with construction industry trade schools to offer its product and pricing information books, software, and e-commerce business tools. The company’s main goal is to introduce today’s students to industry standard products used by the most profitable construction professionals. Two of the products offered are: TRA-SER Pro, the industry standard electronic price book; and the Electrical Price Guide, a portable reference manual that includes more than 15,000 items.
